School History

history2

In the 1970s, Ho Tung School in Kam Tsin Village held more and more activities, and the school had to spend part of the time outdoors for various celebrations, which was very inconvenient. In view of this, the school directors and the village elders initiated the construction of an auditorium. After the auditorium was put into use, the school directors used the remaining funds to start building a kindergarten.

In the early days of kindergarten, the classroom facilities were simple, but the students studied diligently and were very engaged in various activities. Later, the school acquired additional farmland from the villagers, and with the support of donations from various sources, Mr. Hau and the school directors also sought support from the Ho Tung Foundation, and received donations. Ho Tung Kindergarten was eventually built and put into use in 1976, providing services for children.
